Some libraries need to have an explanation of the change, especially if a staff member changes the priority. Currently, you cannot edit a hold after it is placed. We add our RT ticket number to the notes field if we had a request to order the book etc. We also add notes to say if it should be posted out to the user when it arrives or if they will collect it. So we sometimes need to update the note after the hold has been placed.
