The main and immediate way to identify an item is the barcode. So, it would be more convenient and rapid, when they may analyse a problem from a patron circulation log, to have the barcode displayed instead of the itemnumber in the ISSUE and RETURN links. Perhaps for followup - items that have been deleted are linked, but do not work.
