The irregularities problem should hopefully be resolved by 17656. The library I spoke with that led to this bug specifically wants to be able to renew a subscription and have its prediction pattern repeated (covered in bug 17656) or, until that's possible, be able to batch-edit the renewed subscriptions' prediction pattern to select months that won't be published for all 10, 20 etc. subscriptions/locations at once.
