Use of bulkmarcimport.pl instead is an effective workaround for this problem. Bulkmarcimport.pl is not dependent on the fields defined for the framework and, for that reason alone, is a much better choice for importing records into Koha with whatever fields may have been omitted from the Koha MARC framework.
