Instead, you must save the patron form and then edit it to add a restriction. This adds an additional step for staff. Use case: When doing community events, staff may create an account with a restriction for patrons without ID to confirm their name and address. Once that information has been verified, the restriction is removed. Especially since the restriction fields exist on the patron creation form, it would be nice for that restriction to be retained. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. I also tested in a sandbox and it was possible there too. I can replicate this on 25.05 and 25.22 with these steps: 1. Select + New patron (choose any type) 2. Fill out required fields 3. On Patron restrictions, select + Manual restriction 4. Name the restriction in the comment, Enter or don’t enter an Expiration, both have the same result 5. Save patron 6.
