Some would like an option to hide the inactive vendors by default with the option to toggle/display inactive ones. Maybe we don't a sys pref. That bug adds a new layer to vendors (it seems to imply a new archive function, not replacing inactive vendors). I could be misinterpreting it though. Not quite the same. That bug adds a new layer to vendors (it seems to imply a new archive function, not replacing inactive vendors). I could be misinterpreting it though.
This bug simply asks that we have an option for the default display of inactive vendors.

It would have no impact on searching.
