How did you test? Did you do: UPDATE marc_subfield_structure set hidden=-8; Because if you only do one field at a time, obviously, only that field/subfield will disappear.

If I understood the test plan I think I should see nothing/next to nothing in the MARC/ISBD views but I still see most of the record.
