[Bug 7725] New: Marking a subfield mandatory makes the entire field mandatory
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=7725 Priority: P5 - low Change sponsored?: --- Bug ID: 7725 Assignee: gmcharlt@gmail.com Summary: Marking a subfield mandatory makes the entire field mandatory QA Contact: koha.sekjal@gmail.com Severity: minor Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: jcamins@cpbibliography.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: master Component: MARC Bibliographic data support Product: Koha When you mark a subfield mandatory in the MARC framework, that has the effect of making the tag mandatory as well, regardless what the "mandatory" flag on the tag is set to. I think that marking a subfield mandatory should have the effect of "mandatory if applicable," which is used commonly in the MARC standards but can't be represented at present in Koha's MARC bibliographic frameworks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
