[Bug 5659] New: autobarcode seeting <branchcode>YYMM0001> broken
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=5659 Summary: autobarcode seeting <branchcode>YYMM0001> broken Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: rel_3_2 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P5 Component: Cataloging AssignedTo: gmcharlt@gmail.com ReportedBy: katrin.fischer@bsz-bw.de QAContact: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org CC: ian.walls@bywatersolutions.com Estimated Hours: 0.0 Created attachment 3023 --> http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=3023 screenshot I was testing this setting for a library with multiple branches. The counter seems to be totally broken. My first 5 generated barcodes were: RPL10120001 - ok RPL10122001 - ? RPL10122201 - ? RPL10122221 - ? RPL10122223 - ? After that it kept generating the last number RPL10122223. I changed to another branch to try again, the generated number was: FFL10122223 After saving an item with this number it also kept generating FFL10122223. I think it should look like: RPL10120001 RPL10120002 RPL10120003 RPL10120004 ... RPL10120011 RPL10120012 And ideally start anew for each branch: RPL10120001 FFL10120001 RPL10120002 RPL10120003 FFL10120002 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
