I created a single day holiday using the holiday calendar function when I had intended to create a repeating holiday. So I reopened that day, selected the delete option and clicked "Save" but the holiday remained. The only way that I could delete it was to delete the record directly in MySQL.

Also, while I was trying to get the holiday to delete I selected the exception option a few times and managed to create 3 entries in the special_holidays table for the same day.
