[Bug 1305] Add error checking to web installer
http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1305 ------- Comment #1 from henridamien@koha-fr.org 2007-04-10 21:27 ------- (In reply to comment #0)
there currently isn't any error checking in the web installer, other than printing errors to the screen. There is no way to 'undo' actions, or 'return to previous step'.
Undo updatedatabase ? Unless we have a much more powerful and flexible update process. I donot see how to realize this. Undo koha.sql load structure ? would amount to drop all tables or drop/create database. Undo loading a peculiar framework ? Then we would should have two sql scripts one to load, another to delete. either via a filename structure that would allow to load/del Or via a directory structure. What would you favour ? I am also concerned by the fact that users cannot be aware of which frameworks they loaded. That is, it would certainly be great if frameworks name loaded could be stored in a list (in mysql) or in a directory (via links), that would allow users to add (and remove if we find a way to) the frameworks they need. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
