If patrons do not have their physical card with them, they currently need an internet connection to access their virtual library card. However, not everyone has access to mobile data, and some patrons prefer to store cards in a virtual wallet or loyalty card application on their device. At the moment, it is difficult to create or save an image of the virtual library card from a mobile device or tablet for use in these applications. Providing an option to export or save the virtual card as an image file would make it easier for patrons to store and access their library card offline on a device.
