[Bug 8790] New: Search result return "No results found" in both OPAC and Patron sides
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8790 Priority: P5 - low Change sponsored?: --- Bug ID: 8790 Assignee: gmcharlt@gmail.com Summary: Search result return "No results found" in both OPAC and Patron sides Severity: major Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: abdirizaq@gmail.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: rel_3_8 Component: Searching Product: Koha Created attachment 12331 --> http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=12331&action=edit Search error shown on the lower part of the image and the actual items shown in the upper part of the image. We have been having a problem with the Koha search function for a while and previously it was resolved by a simple restart but now even that has not been able to resolve this. When a search is carried out on both the OPAC and the administration area, it returns "No results found" although the item exists. Also we had issues with the Zebra indexing since it could not automatically rebuild once an item is catalogued but that we have resolved to doing it manually using "sudo /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl -b -r -v" This has helped us populate the databases and the items are shown on the Inventory/Stocktaking area since the search is not functional at the moment. I have attached the screenshots of the error. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I recommend you take this issue to the Koha mailing list or to the Koha IRC channel (http://koha-community.org/get-involved/irc/). Things to note when asking for help: - what Koha version - what platform - how you installed koha - what errors are in Koha's error log -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
