We've just tested version 20.05.04 a bit and had some problems with placing a hold in the staff interface. First, we thought the problem was a javascript crash (see 26460). We've updated this, but the problem is still there. This is what we did: 1. Set On shelf holds allowed to If all unavailable to an item type. 2. Search the catalog for a book with available items with the item type above. 3. Place a hold and choose a user that can make that hold. Normally, the system shows that this is against the rules, but that doesnt show up. Note: there is no problem in the OPAC. That item is available, and problem is still the same. We have specific library rules (but only one library) and they clearly seems to be used around the system in other cases. This is is not a big problem for us, as the the Staff normally can overwrite this if they have a reason for it.
