It should include a combination of the unique information available to each page. The most noticeable change is probably putting the renewal count in the same column as the renewal checkboxes. Our library has a few suggestions/comments... 1) In the item type column we would really like to see the item type description and image, rather than just the item type code. In version 3.01.00.032 you can see an example of what we like - on the details tab. For example - Instead of just "ANF" it says Adult Non-fiction Book with the image we've chosen. Most of our staff are not familiar with the abbreviations that we use for item types - so they don't mean anything to them. 2) How does your proposed fix handle overdues? In our current database on the checkout tab the due date for overdue items is in red. In the details tab both the due date and the title are in red. In our opinion the more red text for overdue items - the better! 3) Would it be possible to include, next to the due date, information about a material's "Lost" status? For example items in the our system become "Long Overdue - Lost" at 4 weeks overdue. It would be really cool if this showed up in red - right next to the red due date. This is really great info to display for library staff. Currently this status info is available on a material's normal tab in the staff module.
