[Bug 6423] New: permission for editing other library's stuff
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6423 Bug #: 6423 Summary: permission for editing other library's stuff Classification: Unclassified Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 Component: Patrons AssignedTo: kyle.m.hall@gmail.com ReportedBy: nengard@gmail.com QAContact: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt@gmail.com Right now there is a preference to control if people from one library can edit things from another library, it would be nice if there was a permission (other than superlibrarian) that allowed certain staff members the ability to edit stuff from all libraries regardless of this preference's setting. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA Contact for the bug.
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6423 e-Libris Technologies <elibris.helpdesk@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |elibris.helpdesk@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from e-Libris Technologies <elibris.helpdesk@gmail.com> --- I agree with Nicole. In multi-branch libraries there is often a technical services department which does most of the cataloging for all branches. I think it is too risky to give these staff members "superlibrarian" permissions just so they can do centralized cataloging. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
