But this is not what it does - RoutingSerials actually controls whether the serials are added to a routing list when checked in. A routing list is a list of people who will receive the issue as soon as it arrives. And example at my library Computers in Libraries came first to me, then my assistant, then the head of IT before it went to the library shelf.
