https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42195 Bug ID: 42195 Summary: Item search: add an option to limit the locations to the chosen homebranch Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: laurence.rault@biblibre.com QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org In item search, all the locations are display in the dropdown menu, even if there are some branch limits in the authorised value location. Improvement : near the Location criteria, add a checkbox Limit to the locations of home library. If one or several branches are selected in home library, the location dropdown menu should display only the locations available for this/these branch/branches. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42195 --- Comment #2 from Mathieu Saby <mathsabypro@gmail.com> --- Indeed this would be a nice improvement for large networks of libraries. What should happen if no home library has been selected by the user? Maybe the checkbox should be hidden ? I had the same idea in bug 42144 but I did not think of a checkbox to make the feature optional. I assumed that no one would be interested in selecting Library A and a location X that is NOT included in that library. But maybe I'm wrong? Could this be useful for performing checks and identifying anomalous data? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
