Here's the sequence. -Item A is on reserve for patron A. -Item A is returned and made waiting. -Patron B checks out Item A. -- Librarian overrides the reserve -- Librarian does not say to cancel the reserve -Patron A's reservation is cancelled anyway. This is a rare occurrence--usually if a librarian is overriding a reserve on a waiting item they're checking it out to the reserve patron's spouse, so they *want* to cancel the reserve.
