If the circ desk is busy, we want to add minimum info so that a new patron can check out items quickly and we can move on to the next patron. Additional info can be added later from the registration card during lulls in activity. The clerks are very happy with this new add patron setup. I rearranged the field groups in memberentrygen.tmpl so that required fields appear on the first screen AND a save button is there as well. I'll attach the file for review.
