Here is an other approach: Holds expiration date is set one time (when reserves become waiting) so we no longer have to calculate it each time we need. When setting the expiration date, all these system preferences are checked: ExpireReservesMaxPickUpDelay, ReservesMaxPickUpDelay and ExcludeHolidaysFromMaxPickUpDelay (new).
