[Bug 34342] New: Barcode auto incremental exceed 13 digits
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34342 Bug ID: 34342 Summary: Barcode auto incremental exceed 13 digits Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: ruth.elliott@nlj.gov.jm QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy@rijksmuseum.nl We set the autoBarcode to incremental EAN_13 barcodes and it started to create barcodes that exceed 13 digits and now producing hexadecimal barcodes. We would love to have an idea as to why this is happening. When we create a new item instead of incrementing to the next number it adds another digit example of our barcode is now 1000000019499147 if I add another item to this record the barcode would be 10000000194991471 notice an additional number is added at the end.
