I assume that is the problem since the newest Koha is known not to work with new versions of MySQL as included in Ubuntu 16.04 yet. Which version of MySQL are you using? I assume that is the problem since the newest Koha is known not to work with new versions of MySQL as included in Ubuntu 16.04 yet.
