If you don't select a branch using selectbranchprinter.pl, Koha will default to a branch of its own seemingly random choosing: It's not the first branch ordered by branchid, or the first branch ordered by name, or the first branch entered. The consequence of this is that if someone loses their cookies or logs in with a new browser there is no indication other than on the circ screen what branch they're logged in as. This results in books being transferred to the wrong branch and statistics skewed towards Koha's chosen "default" branch.
