Receive would then be the only one behaving differently. When you click on a title, it opens, but always in the same window. And while I specially say this is an issue on receive, you're right, it's an issue all throughout acq when you click a title you loose your basket.' I think it's a pretty well established pattern that if you doing something like filling out a form on a shopping site's checkout page and there is a link to something like privacy policy or terms of service that clicking the link will open in a new window, tab, or modal view. To test: 1) Go to Acquisitions, find a vendor and add some orders to the basket, one from an existing record and one from a suggestion. 2) VIEW the basket (basket.pl) 3) Click on a title, click on the link to a suggestion. Notice these open in new tabs 4) Close the basket 5) Click 'Receive shipment' (will be taken to parcel.pl) 6) Click on a title, click on the link to a suggestion. Beating the dead horse... I am sorry but I have to agree with Jonathan and Katrin here. We should teach our librarians to use the browser properly, instead of trying to programmatically fix user errors.
+1 Next thing, they'll be using the new tab/window instead of the old one, and they'll nest several layers deep. It just gets ugly. User education is always better.
