[Bug 35719] New: Specify which libraries the loggedinlibrary permission allows patron to switch between
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35719 Bug ID: 35719 Summary: Specify which libraries the loggedinlibrary permission allows patron to switch between Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs@lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon@cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia@bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt@gmail.com Koha has always been to broad in what libraries a staff member can switch to. Now that we have the loggedinlibraries permission, it would be good to take this to the next level and set what libraries the user can switch between. I envision an button next to this permission that, when clicked, brings up a modal listing all defined branches and a check box next to each. Admin would pick which libraries the staff member can switch between. with the loggedinlibraries permission active, the user would see the library dropdown, but only the libraries checked in the permission would be active selections. We could either remove or deactivate the choices the staff member is not allowed to choose from. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Particularly if staff could only choose libraries in their library group. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

I have a staff member that works between two different libraries, and a group would not help in that case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
