[Bug 472] It should not be possible to delete an item which is on issue
http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=472 oleonard@athenscounty.lib.oh.us changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- AssignedTo|chris@katipo.co.nz |paul.poulain@free.fr Severity|normal |major OS/Version|Linux - Debian |All Platform|PC |All Version|1.2.3 |2.2.0 ------- Additional Comments From oleonard@athenscounty.lib.oh.us 2005-04-06 06:55 ------- Looks like this one has been around for a long long time. It's still a bug, though, and it's starting to cause problems for us. Koha lets you delete an item which is checked out to someone, and offers no warnings. When the deletion is made, the item is still in the issues table. When a patron's record is brought up, the screen indicates that there is an overdue, but no overdue is listed (because there's nothing in the database with that item number). Koha should either refuse to delete such an item or offer to return the item before deleting it. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
