https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43045 --- Comment #5 from Lari Taskula <lari.taskula@hypernova.fi> --- Created attachment 206879 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=206879&action=edit Bug 43045: Add PIN code to OPAC self registration To test: 1. Enable the `PatronSelfRegistration` system preference. 2. Enable the `EnablePinAuthentication` system preference. 3. Set the `MinPinLength` system preference to `4`. 4. Navigate to the OPAC. 5. Click the "Create an account" link. 6. Confirm that the registration form contains a PIN field. 7. Enter valid registration details. 8. Enter a PIN shorter than four characters. 9. Observe the error: "PIN code must contain at least 3 numbers" 10. Enter a four-character PIN containing a non-numeric character. 11. Observe the error: "PIN code must contain only digits" 12. Enter a four-digit PIN in the "PIN code" field, but enter a different code in the "Confirm PIN code" field. 13. Observe the error: "Please enter the same PIN code as above" 14. Enter a PIN that is exactly four digits long. 15. Submit the registration form. 16. Confirm that registration succeeds. Verify your account. 17. After verifying, under "Registration complete!" page, observe "To access self service equipment, please use the following PIN code: PIN code: <your pin code>" 18. Confirm that the PIN is associated with the newly created patron account. A quick way to test the PIN is to execute the following command: perl -e "use C4::Auth; \ warn C4::Auth::checkpw_internal(\ qw(<username or cardnumber>), \ qw(<your pin code>), 1, qw(pin)) ? qw(success):qw(failure);" Replace `<username or cardnumber>` and `<your pin code>` with your account credentials. For Debian package installations, you may use: koha-shell -c '<above perl command>' instance_name 19. Repeat the registration process using a PIN longer than four characters. 20. Confirm that the longer PIN is accepted. 21. Set `MinPinLength` to a different value, such as `6`. 22. Navigate to the OPAC self-registration page again. 23. Enter a PIN shorter than six digits. 24. Confirm that the PIN is rejected. 25. Enter a PIN exactly six digits long. 26. Confirm that the PIN is accepted. 27. Using the `PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField` system preference, check "Pin code". 28. Navigate to the OPAC self-registration page. 29. Confirm that the PIN field is no longer displayed. 30. Revert step 27 by unchecking "Pin code" from `PatronSelfRegistrationBorrowerUnwantedField`. 31. Disable the `EnablePinAuthentication` system preference. 32. Navigate to the OPAC self-registration page. 33. Confirm that the PIN field is still not displayed. 34. Complete and submit the registration form. 35. Confirm that self-registration still works without requiring a PIN. 36. Confirm that existing self-registration functionality is not affected when PIN authentication is disabled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
