wir werden demnächst auf 21.11 upgraden, und danach wollen wir den zunehmenden Bestand von ebooks mit den unterschiedlichen Lizenzmodellen verwalten und ausleihen. Das Problem dabei ist, dass wir in 26 Ländern global Bibliotheken haben und viele unterschiedliche Sprachen, Modelle und Anbieter bearbeiten können müssen.

 

Wie wäre eure Empfehlung hier vorzugehen?

 

Beim letzten D-A-CH Treffen haben wir eine Lösung über plugins gesehen. Leider bin ich technisch nicht sehr versiert.

 

PTFS Europe schreibt mir:

This is a complex and multi-faceted issue. In terms of making ebooks available there are really two main options: -

1) Subscribe to a "Discovery" system like EBSCO EDS to provide both the access, authentication and subscription to the eBooks. 

2) Load eBook MARC records into Koha (with an 856 link out to the resource). This will not handle the subscription nor the authentication though. 

Für eure Einschätzungen/Empfehlungen wäre ich sehr dankbar.
