Hi fellows,

as you might already know Chris Hall, Bernardo and I have been elected for the task of maintaining the 3.8.x, 3.10.x and 3.12.x stable releases respectively.

The current schedule (to which we are sticking) establishes June 22 for string freeze. If you have string patches still on your local branches, keep that date in mind and send them soon so they get in; specially for the fresh and beauty 3.12.x branch!
