5- in some cases we may edit manually the .tt files like in browsing for patrons we have a b c ... but the Arabs patrons my have names in Arabic characters  so we have to add : أ  ب ت ... and not remove tha a b c .. some libraries in Arab worlds use the abc ...  

Koha 3.12 includes a feature that allows you to set which letters are included in the patron name browse without editing the templates. Take a look at the "alphabet" syspref: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.12/en/administration.html#l18nprefs
