Sure. Change the updatedatabase for atomic updates.

I notice the DB Revisions table on the wiki is empty. It seems to have
fallen into disuse but there are a number of db updates waiting
upstream. I've recreated the page and claimed an update version for a
patch I signed off. Wondering if there is a preferable method to make
