Hie,
Now that you removed indexdata repository, update and retry to install koha.
You should not use "apt-get" but "aptitude", it can solve such problems and warns on pachage removal :
> sudo aptitude install koha

Jared,

Thanks for the info, but the results appear to be the same without the index line, minus the GPG error. From tracing the dependencies, it looks to me like a bogus requirement somewhere along the way.

koha-koha@WW-R-ITLWDW1K5M:~$ sudo apt-get install libyaz4

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 libyaz4 : Depends: libgnutls26 (>= 2.12.6.1-0) but 2.8.6-1 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

I looked in /var/lib/dpkg/status and found that libgnutls26 is version 2.8.6-1. Upgrading that tells me that the latest version is installed. This makes me think there is a bad dependency with libyaz4. However, this is the info in the status file for that package:

Package: libyaz4

Status: install ok installed

I am not sure where to go from here.

Brian and David,

Please keep these discussions on the list, so that anyone else encountering these issues in the future will be able to find the fix.

It looks to me like your problem is the GPG key for the indexdata repository. The good news is, you don't need the indexdata repository anymore, I don't think. Try removing that line from /etc/apt/sources.list, rerunning apt-get update, and reinstalling koha-common.

Jared
