1 - On Linux you do not need Docker Desktop - I have docker.io and docker-compose - I set this up long ago, so don't remember the steps, but you should not require a licence

2 - That is up to you. For editing code I think most developers use an IDE or something outside the docker container - I personally tend to work from within the container, but it is not necessary. Tests etc should be run in the container

3 - If you work inside the container then git-bz and all should be installed - it looks like work is being done to get the hools automatically installed (https://gitlab.com/koha-community/koha-misc4dev/-/issues/59) - if you work outside the container, then yes, installing git bz and pre-commit hook should get you well started

I'm trying to set up a Koha Testing Docker on my local machine (running Pop!_OS 22.04). I haven't used Docker before, and I have a few questions about how to get it set up.

Am I missing anything? Hopefully this will make more sense once I have everything installed and can actually start playing with it, but I'll admit I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now.
