Hi all,

I just noticed yesterday on an install (from git, on debian squeeze) of 
3.4 that when I add an item not only does it ignore the "hidden" 
property (bug 6439:  
http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6439)  but it 
also ignores the default values that I've set for some fields as well as 
the "mandatory" setting.

Am I missing something in the configuration, is it a bug, or is it just me?
