I was playing around with MySQL replication recently, and was wondering if anyone actually used it as part of their Koha setup. And if so, what purpose?

 

Why was I playing with it? I was pondering how to handle loss of internet access to a remote host (e.g. Asia undersea cable gets cut and the Philippines is cut off from their hosted data in Amsterdam). Any ideas?
