You can see in release note of Koha 3.4.4 it has been integrated :
http://koha-community.org/koha-3-4-4/
I've looked at debian stable repository, its revision is 3.4.5.
You should have it by updating.
You may have a problem with updating.
What is your Debian version ?
You may use "Synaptic" program to manage packages and repositories.

Sorry,
I missed it, it has been send to GIT : http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=commitdiff;h=9b38eccf73b199bf450915ba01236ddf76658a5a

Brian, is this good enough info to try?

I think
stable repository will have revisions 3.4.0, 3.4.1, 3.4.2 ...
dev repository will have last build package (containing nearly last source revision).
But I see that bug 6713 is not yet integrated. Patch is just send.
It will need testing and integration before it is integrated in GIT then debian package.
You will have to integrate manually this patch.
It is not so difficult.
Read it to apply it on source.
Remove lines begining with - and add lines begining with +.
For more, Google is your friend.

Hie,
Do you use the stable or the dev package repository ?
See http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.2_on_Debian_Squeeze#Development_Version

Can any techies help?
I know that the detect duplicates was patched (thank you for patching it) .. Here is the bug record bug 6713: 4975 | 5791
To “get” the patch, I just learned that I am not on git after all. We used apt-get. However, I did update the packages last week and we are as current as can be. Here is the installed version:
KOHA_INSTALLED_VERSION=3.05.00.011
I just tried to do the following:
sudo apt-get upgrade yaz
sudo apt-get upgrade zebra
sudo apt-get upgrade koha
sudo apt-get upgrade
I get the same result each time:
koha-koha@WW-R-ITLWDW1K5M:~$ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
idzebra-2.0 idzebra-2.0-utils libidzebra-2.0-dev libidzebra-2.0-mod-alvis
libidzebra-2.0-mod-dom libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-marc
libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-regx libidzebra-2.0-mod-grs-xml
libidzebra-2.0-mod-text libyaz4 yaz
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 11 not upgraded.
How can we get the patch? If I have it, then I am stuck cuz Koha is not detecting duplicates when I import the “copy 2” items. My library catalog is full of original “copy 1” records. Now I am adding 500 second copies (my collection was divided into copies when I started the conversion to move to Koha).
Sorry to keep posting this .. L
David
