Good Afternoon All

I had a meeting with the librarians last evening and some questions came up? One that seems to be a major thing issue is that fact that most of our barcodes overlap from branch to branch. I read Doug Dearden and Scott Owens posts about multiple branches and DBs and it raise a question in my mind of how many separate DB’s can you have running on one server before it becomes a performance hit? We have 7 libraries with an average of 16k items/library. If I put all 7 DBs on server what server specs should I be looking at? If anyone has a similar situation and would like to share their experience please do so.

Not sure if this should be on the user side or not, if so please let know and I will ask them as well.
