Hi,
I don't know if it's really in the scope of the interface redesign but with some other members of the French Koha user group, we thought that there are possible enhancements for the tables and the columns :
- have systematic filters above the table
- be able to work on all the tables in the staff interface through the administrations -> table settings
- be able to choose the place of a column (first, third, last..) (with a drag and drop system would be cool)
- have a better understanding of the duration of the change when you choose to hide / display a column on a specific page (does it last only the time you are in the page or during the session ?)
I hope that these ideas could be considered.
Kind regards,
Sonia BOUIS

Continuing in this mood I've created the new feature :
https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30136
Add back to top button when scrolling
This is a feature we often see custom Javascript.
It whould be great to have it in OPAC and staff interface.
Best regards,

Hi Sonia,
I'm not sure but I think the bug 30055 may address the first part of
your requirements :
Bug 30055 <https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30055>: Make patron searches use the REST API
This patch will rewrite some of our patron searches to make them use the
REST API routes (and so the powerful the DataTables wrapper which will
bring all the nice DT feature to filter, sort, etc.)
This only targets the Patron's search screen though.
All the best,
Arthur Suzuki
