Barcodes have been previously discussed, but I have been unable to find a definition of the barcodes that Koha automatically assigns. They seem to be in sequential order in the items table, but the barcode field is not defined as "auto-increment." Is there a document somewhere, or can someone briefly explain how the barcodes Koha assigns are structured and calculated?
