Staff interface redesign is ready to be tested
Hi all, After 5 months of work, the new staff interface is finally there! As it changes a lot of pages, we will need a lot of eyes to hunt down bugs. Fyi, I just promoted the new interface on the ByWater Partners listserv, so there may be an influx of new comments/ ideas in the near future. If so, I hope they'll be helpful! I mentioned a Biblibre sandbox had been provisioned for the bug, but it's since been taken down, which should slow things down a bit. Indeed, but with a direct link to https://sandbox.bywatersolutions.com/create and a few phrases to explain what to fill in the form and then tell to wait and refresh until the "Staff" button is visible should be enough to make it accessible to most end-users wanting to check it out. I still think a dedicated sandbox would be really helpful. What Victor says is certainly true for smaller patch sets, but this is a big patch set that touches a lot of files and will conflict very often. So this could get quite frustrating to set up fast. Hi, it should be possible to create a sandbox using a git branch, but it didn't work for me last time I tried. Maybe I didn't have the syntax right.
