Hi Guys Well I think I might spend this weekend figuring out and creating a devel branch for koha. Ive been reading through http://www.cvshome.org/docs/manual/cvs_5.html#SEC54 Which is a really good rundown on how to use branches. Now I guess I just have to try and figure out what versions of what to branch. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Also if you get a chance take a look at http://www.saas.nsw.edu.au/wiki/index.php?page=KohaProject Chris -- Chris Cormack Programmer 025 500 789 Katipo Communications Ltd chris@katipo.co.nz www.katipo.co.nz

you might also want to look at cvsbook.red-bean.com especially http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html#Branches for more information. If you like it, you might think about buying Karl's book. He did a very nice job on it.

My cut at it is ... take the working current version and make that the 1.1.2 branch (feature frozen/bug fix only), this probably excludes MARC and Z39.50. Then let's set a target to cut a 1.2 branch, maybe 60 days out ...

looked at it and marked it up a bit. Wiki's are the way to go. -pate

Hi guys, I have a little time on my hands over the next couple of week, as was thinking about putting a bit of time into the reporting functionality of Koha. We have a need at the moment to be able to pull out a list of of books by author. I also noticed on the koha list that there was a mention of the Accession Lists. Unfortunately with not being a librarian and after having a look today at some of the services that libraries are offering there appears to be no standard format for an Accession list, can anyone offer advice to what format may be considered to be a standard format for a library. A couple of formats that I discovered can be view at the following sites: http://www.sog.org.uk/library/accessions.html http://www.edstud.ox.ac.uk/Library/webpage_ACCESSIONS.htm http://www.londonlibrary.co.uk/services/services.htm#accession L8r

Mybe uou can you do what you need with the current search options: http://opac.katipo.co.nz/cat/ and type a string in the author textbox - say "atkins" for example? R.

That is what we are doing at the moment, but what I need is a complete list of books in the library (we have an amazingly small library at the moment), sorted by any number of fields. The output could be either printed or even PDF would be good. Is there a need for this sort of functionality within Koha? M
