Hi, I can release 1.9.3 now. It will include : * z3950 search and import during biblio editing. * many, many bugfixes. and it will be the official feature freeze for 2.0 Or... I can wait a week to release it and have : * more bugfixes * a bulkmarcimport that works on MARC data (not the breeding farm import, the import for migration) (thanks to ron Wickersham that works on this) * maybe a bulkmarcimport for CSV datas (thanks to Esiee if they can send it to me). What do you prefer as users/testers ? Note : it could not include non-root install patch (from MJR) -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)

Why not? I've had no feedback on this yet. The non-root patch also includes some important installer security fixes which absolutely should go into the next release. To release with a known security flaw is very bad. If you want those broken out into a patch of their own, let me know. -- MJR http://mjr.towers.org.uk/ IM: slef@jabber.at This is my home web site. I agree to say it should be included in next stable release. I'll try to test your patch. But i'm not sure to have enough time. It's not that i don't want to do it. Note that if another developper want to test it, he can :-) (bugs 417 & 456) Note I could ask pate to add you to dev list and you could take care of it yourself. Pate what do you think of this ? -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)

I'd be happy to add MJ as a developer at sourceforge. (I think I've made the offer before -- if not, I apologize.) -pate

Since you're still planning on adding the bulkimport stuff listed below, making a feature freeze this week is probably not the way to go.

I vote for next week.

If anyone can test this for inclusion, I'd really like to see it added as soon as we can. thanks, -pate

Anyone who can install koha 1.9.2 should be able to test this. I'm aware of two small bugs that I've added to bug#417 notes, so please read those as well. -- MJR http://mjr.towers.org.uk/ IM: slef@jabber.at This is my home web site. This for Jabber Messaging.
