Paul, I've created the about.tmpl as we discussed during the irc meeting. I think everything in it can be pulled quite readily during the install process to create an about.html file which we can link to with abandon. Everyone else, please let me know if you think there are other bits you think we might want to know about in a bug report. The current template has slots for Koha version, OS version, Perl version, MySQL version, and Apache Version. We could certainly look at grabbing versions of specific modules as well. -pate Pat Eyler Kaitiaki/manager migrant Linux sys admin the Koha project ruby, shell, and perl geek http://www.koha.org http://pate.eylerfamily.org

Doesn't that assume that nothing is upgraded after koha is installed? MJR
Actually, we've already updated it to generate the data on-the-fly. Paul has linked the about.pl script from the existing pages as well. How's the bug reporting script going? -pate Pat Eyler Kaitiaki/manager migrant Linux sys admin the Koha project ruby, shell, and perl geek http://www.koha.org http://pate.eylerfamily.org On Thu, 10 Apr 2003, MJ Ray wrote:

Badly. If you remember, none of my customers use koha yet, so it's 2nd place behind work for them. I spent all of yesterday chasing a bug in some so-called "open source" software for a customer, only to find it and then see the copyright notice forbidding me to fix it. *sigh* I should have some time this weekend, though. -- MJR http://mjr.towers.org.uk/ IM: slef@jabber.at This is my home web site.
