Hi, I'm trying to INSTALL latest version from CVS on my system but I've found many difficulties mainly due I'm using an INSTALL file from a release that no speaks nothing about templates or so and it seems to be very obsoleted. I've try a 'find' command looking for an INSTALL file through the CVS directories but I couldn't found it. I'd like to RTFM before continue flooding this list with my questions so... Where is The "Fine" Manual??? Thx. in advance,

Thx. in advance,
we know you now ! when sun rises, when rain falls, then, Francisco comes for a question or two :-) I remind my previous mail to a question YOU asked 2 days ago :
The safe-installer is an alpha-stage installation rewrite script. At the moment, if you want to install from cvs, you've 2 ways : * do it manually (the best way, imho) * create a release (buildrelease) and install it (installer.pl) However, the safe-installer is not known to work (Arens : correct if i'm wrong here) -- Paul

That's the point Paul, I'm trying to install it manually following the INSTALL text file instructions (I mean the installation guide, not an script), but I've found that file doesn't correspond with the source I've, among other things it says nothing about where the templates must be installed in the system while talks about copy an opac-html directory: [...] In your opac dir make a dir called htdocs, and copy everything in opac-html/ to it. [...] But there's no directory called opac-html in current CVS, probably all those html files dissapiared substitued by templates (tmpl). And so on... That INSTALL guide is that one that comes with 1.2.3RC21 because I've no found equivalent documentation for the CVS source.
* create a release (buildrelease) and install it (installer.pl)
I think I also have this option anyway...

buildrelease also ask me for a koha-html directory that doesn't exists neither in CVS repository. :-(
koha-html is a separate module from the koha module. Do a checkout of the koha-html module using the instructions you used to get the koha module. Steve.
