Hi, I apologize for calling the dev meeting, but not being able to attend it, but I have other unavoidable responsibilities today. Here is a quick update on 3.16.x: - Feature freeze is still end of Monday, 28 April in the PDT time zone. Any patch that reaches passed QA by that point will be considered for 3.16.0. As I mentioned before, I'm granting leeway to the new cataloging editor; I will also grant leeway to multiple transport type enhancements, as there are a number of separate bug reports, some of which have not yet gone through QA. If there are things that you believe are close and worthy of leeway, please reply to this thread. - I will not be cutting an alpha today after all, but will still cut a testing release on 30 April. I may call it alpha or beta depending on how stable it feels to me. May we have an exemption for Bug 8375? Hopefully this will pass QA in the next few days, but regardless, the outstanding issues appear trivial at this point. Kind Regards, Chris
Hi to all,

we trying to sign-off as soon as possible bug 11944 for a better support of UFT-8. In fact if anyone else want to check it, no problem. More sign-off is better for this large bug. Bye Zeno Tajoli
Hello, It would have been really great to have the "batch modification for biblios" feature in 3.16 and, in particular, the bugfixes for the MARC modifications templates since the current code can corrupt data. I have already ping twice (on the mailing list and in the last newsletter), so I guess there are not many people interested. Which is quite a pity since the feature is "experimental". I think 10486 could be a another good candidate, adding a really nice feature to the OPAC, but not so likely to break anything else: Bug 10486 - Allow external Z39.50 targets to be searched from the OPAC http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10486 Katrin
Greetings, Since bug 11253 has been pushed to master, it would be nice if the complementary bug 12115 made it in as well. GPML, Mark Tompsett
Greetings, I should have looked more thoroughly. Another one of interest to me is bug 5010. There's no way for the staff client to know what OPAC is using as its protocol. There is hard coded http:// in many places. This bug just fixes one tiny place, but adds an 'OpacProtocol' system preference to provide a way to work towards something cleaner. GPML, Mark Tompsett

The list of candidates for 3.16.0 can be found here: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/buglist.cgi?keywords=rel_3_16_candidate&list_id=96954 This includes all bugs that have passed QA as of now as well as the ones for which leeway is being granted. Of course, patches that fix bugs may make it in to 3.16.0, but at this point new features and enhancements that are not on this list should have zero expectation of making it into the release.
