Paul and Steve have begun a Herculean merge of rel-1-2 stuff back into HEAD. This has been tremendously important, because they're getting ready to start in on the changes required for 1.4 and don't want to have to do a big merge backwards. If you're not working in rel-1-2, *please* do a cvs update before doing any more work. They're not done yet, and would probably welcom any help people can pitch there way.
