Hi Ernesto, I think you'll want to join the koha-devel list, and sign up as a developer at sourceforge (until MJR finishes moving to arch.) thanks, -pate Pat Eyler Kaitiaki/manager migrant Linux sys admin the Koha project ruby, shell, and perl geek http://www.koha.org http://pate.eylerfamily.org On Mon, 24 May 2004, Silva, Ernesto - Webmaster wrote:
Hi,
I'm trying to offer a Koha installation for my university but the system will need some customization which I believe could be usefull for all the Koha community.
If I succeed I'll have some funds to invest in the product and I want to add these new features to the koha main source tree so I can get them back in future versions.
I don't know if this is a subject for this list so I'm asking here for a Koha proyect chief/administrator/etc to contact me back, so we can talk about this or at least tell me if this is the right list.
Thank you.

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm distracted by a koha upgrade (deadline 10 June), an ldapkoha install (anyone got this taking all borrower details from ldap, not just login? Target date 4 June), eurovote (URL below for EU voters, will finish 16 June) and some sysadmin stuff. I'll try to get to arch in my copious free time this week, but I want to document it properly. -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and possibly not of any group I know. http://www.ttllp.co.uk/ for creative copyleft computing Help hack the EuroParl! http://mjr.towers.org.uk/proj/eurovote/

about LDAP koha : sure Koha just check password for instance. I'll add features for getting all infos & automatically store them in koha borrowers tables, but my deadlibe is august, 30 & i've more urgent things to do. If you add some features before me, let me know & commit them ;-)

I've seen a french tutorial on GnuArch, so I think I will be able to handle migration quite easily... -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)
