Hi All,
Hi David,
Just a quick note - I have (with much help and direction from Ed Summers - thanks Ed!) just built and uploaded to CPAN the Biblio::ILL::GS package for generating interlibrary loan 'generic script' requests suitable for emailing to and then importing into ILL management systems.
Biblio: :ILL::GS is intended to be a bit of glue between a web-search able OPAC and the ILL management system. Ask me - I'm happy to talk about it ;-)
This looks like it might be a wonderful addition to Koha. We'll be able to look harder at it once CPAN makes it available. Would you be willing to work with some of the Koha developers to help integrate it into our system?
Hopefully, the CPAN will have it indexed in short order.

Well, David wrote me back to say that he'd be interested in doing an irc session with us. How does 1900 UTC, Wed May 21 sound? (That's 1200 for people that share a timezone with Seattle, WA. -- I'll let everyone else make their own calculations, http://www.worldtimeserver.com/ is your friend.) I think we can look at extending his to a broader ILL implementation within Koha as well. (BTW, there is also a lot of talk on the perl4lib list about creating Perl NCIP or SIP2 modules ... both of which would be nice for us.) -pate On Thu, 15 May 2003, Pat Eyler wrote:

What does koha have against us football fans?!? Again, there is a potentially very good football match on: the UEFA cup final. You'll have to expect some of us to have one eye or ear on the game during the meeting. MJR

I'm just trying to get back at you for my not having a chance to watch much good football here. Misery loves company ;^) -pate
