Hello all, I am looking for someone who can do some development in Koha for me. My users should be able to login koha using their google apps email ids. Please let me know if anybody is interested. Thanks Pratik
It sounds like you might want to just add openid support instead. That would allow not only gmail address, but also the use of any other openid provider. Kyle 2012/3/4 Pratik Malhotra <pratik.malhotra@fountainheadschools.org>:

If anyone has done it already they have neither shared the code nor told anyone about it. This would be a good place to start: http://koha-community.org/support/paid-support/ -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
Hie, Development can be based on acutal CAS support of Koha. What might be different with OpenID ? On Mon, Mar 5, 2012 at 2:29 PM, Owen Leonard <oleonard@myacpl.org> wrote:

I think OpenID means de-centralized authentication, whereas CAS means SingleSignOn using some kind of token, plus a centralized source of authentication. Regards To+

Right, Maybe openID is more related to shibboleth then. breaking news = BibLibre is working on shibboleth, it should be submitted soon for integration into Koha. -- Paul POULAIN http://www.biblibre.com Expert en Logiciels Libres pour l'info-doc Tel : (33) 4 91 81 35 08
Paul, Has the work on Shibboleth required a refactoring of C4/Auth? It's sorely needed. Looking forward to testing it out! -Ian On Tue, Mar 6, 2012 at 08:04, Paul Poulain <paul.poulain@biblibre.com>wrote:

It's sorely needed. rewritting Auth IS something needed, definetly, but that won't be through Shibboleth.

I am very interesed in C4/Auth rewrite since it's... mess...

I needed SAML for one of our libraries, so I made cludge to integrate phpsimplesaml (since it is also used on provider's side), but that solution if fragile and needs rewrite, so Shibboleth's SAML is probably the way to go.
